Very much so. My kids' school is still planning to move forward
with in class lessons on an opt in basis. Students who do not wish to attend in person will attend online.
But even this last semester which was 100% online was REALLY well done. My kids were kept occupied for 4-5 hours of class time each day and then loaded up with homework. Granted, they were grade 6 and 8 which is a little easier to do than the really young kids. One of our friends is a public school teacher and she said the distance learning was a total disaster. Attendance with her class steadily dropped off to the point where she had ~25% attendance at the end. I feel like my kids are getting 90% of the in class experience, where as many kids in public schools are getting 0% of the in class experience. We really need to figure this out
