who will believe any conspiracy theory that spouts in front of them. They don't give a shit about science because they don't understand it, or simply lack the brain power to process it. They HATE anything that smells of education, as it flies in the face of their unending race to the bottom in a quest to prove their ignorance is just as good as your education. They fear what they don't understand, and they kill what they fear. Violence and hatred are the main undercurrents of these miserable bastards' lives; those are also conveniently the primary tools to be used against that which they fear and misunderstand.

In this context, it's no wonder the US is completely incapable of fighting off COVID. It is going to get much, MUCH worse before it gets better. This is inevitable, as massive swaths of the population are utterly entrenched in their ignorant, idiotic, imbecilic beliefs. There is no way to control this, short of declaring martial law and shooting half the population dead. We'll just have to accept a horrific casualty figure from the disease itself and hope it somehow just goes away on its own. Americans have become completely and utterly incapable of pulling together to combat any common foe. Sad but true. Don't believe me? Just turn on the news any day of the week.
