Um, how was it unconstitutional? hypocritical after '16? Sure, but they

were perfectly within their rights to do what they did.

Here is the problem. The only argument the angry Ds can make is that the Rs in control should play by a set of unwritten rules. If you are relying on Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham to be honorable leaders, you're going to be disappointed. I think the Ds would have done the same thing, fwiw.

I'm not as spun up over the court as some of the others here. That said, I think you could make the argument that what we have today isn't really representative democracy as far as the Supreme Court is concerned. It will be interesting to see what happens.

If we're able to get rid of Trump next week, it will be a huge step forward. If we can address what I see as a very real Fox News issue for this country, perhaps we can get back to normal discourse. I'd be happy to just start with our "leaders" not saying stupid things to appeal to stupid people (i.e., not doing things like fighting the dumbest culture war ever waged... one that will cost us $trillions in the end).
