People are going back to work because

States are ending the auto benefit and the fed supplement.

I think exec comp is out of hand, and would have the same “free market” concerns if the govt was paying execs 7 and 8 figures not to work.

I have no problem with businesses paying a living wage. The better wage/benefits with lower turnover model works for Costco. Walmart goes a different route and that seems to work for them. I prefer the Costco model, but I don’t think either should have to compete with the govt paying people $15-$20 not to work. Fortunately that is coming to an end.
