You call the the opposite what I call a control point, a guard rail

a guard rail.
Because capitalism is a theory that is based on parties acting rationally with built in corrective actions, but it is practiced by imperfect people. Who don’t behave rationally, who don’t behave ethically, and in the time it takes for the market to correct against unethical irrational actions, lots and lots of people get hurt.
