In this case I was talking about the stupidity of the CEO pay envy politics

and its actual impact on the hourly wages of those below them.

But yes, to your point, in this case I was referring to the stupidity of the argument that employers should "just pay them more", when competing against what Govco is paying them not to take that job. Not that the opposite of capitalism point doesn't also apply to Min Wage laws.
