We may be seeing that right now. There appears to be a potential narrative shift from two years of fear porn to "Oh-COVID-is-endemic-just-deal-with-it" due, I suppose, to polling and the upcoming midterms.

The problem is that, in its effort to stoke fear in politicizing the virus over the last couple of years, the left has created a monster in the form of the true believers. And there are tens of millions of them, who, like lefties generally, are prone to having their inherent neuroses triggered fairly easily.

Can this group be brought back to earth, or do the left's political leaders have a tiger by the tail? I'm not sure how that plays out. It could be as simple as their media, which brainwashed them in the first place, now just brainwashing them into some new belief. You also have to factor in their need to keep the COVID-related vote-by-mail scam going until November, so they can't totally push for normalcy until at least then, adding another complicating factor.
