Or at least "permanent" until another Republican is in the White House. The vax passport is a big one, although I find it really hard to believe that other than a small minority are going to climb onto the bimonthly COVID vaccine funhouse ride that we're approaching.

These are terrible, but what most concerns me is the logical extension of some of the things that have come about, particularly 1) some sort of social credit system evolving from the vax passport and 2) groundwork laid for government-rule-by-emergency-fiat due to other leftist nonsense, such as global warming or gun violence. I hope I'm worrying without reason here.

As an aside, say what you will about Trump, but think how much different the country would be right now if the NeverTrumpers had won out in in 2016 and made Hillary president. Instead of Gorsuch, ACB and Kegstand Kavanaugh on the bench, we'd have three more Wise Latinas. Holy moly. Nothing would be unconstitutional except the Constitution itself. While Trump's tax cuts were great, the court situation alone was worth putting up with his...peccadilloes.
