What does "your don't care" mean other than "I want to argue with you"?

People who support Ocare, by and large, care deeply. They believe strongly that all people should have HC. That it's a basic right. So don't complain when they start slapping you with personal insults when you start with a post like this.

All that aside, here's a better question - one I have been thinking about since the House passed the tax bill yesterday. 400 pages that nobody has really discussed as far as we know.

ACA flaws can IMO be traced in large part to the process, which repubs love to summarize by Pelosi's boneheaded remark: "you have to pass it to find out what's in it". Basically, they were in a political rush to get something done before their midterm elections.

Sound familiar? How will this tax thing not be a complete disaster, with high odds of creating unexpected complications and unintended consequences - something this big and secret being rushed through literally in just a matter of days and weeks.

The 1986 reform bill was a 4 year bipartisan effort. And it was filled with unintended consequences. How are people complaining so bitterly about Ocare - your post here looks like an evangelical sermon written around a "you don't care" cadence, which is of course just designed to whip people up. And even worse, the people you spend so much time defending are taking the political boneheadedness of the ACA passage, and exponentially magnifying it in pretty much everything they attempt to do.

How about this lesson from ACA - Hey Don, there is nothing magical about passing that tax thing by Xmas. You know that horrible HC disaster you keep screaming about? Why are you mimicking and magnifying the stupid process that gave it to us?
