Optics matter


Yeah. It's not a big thing on the bottom line. But much like lifting the endangered species trophy import ban it's clearly a bone being thrown to only the very top of the socioeconomic ladder. It's not one of these "more income = more taxes = unavoidably bigger tax break" things.

Oh. And it's incredibly swampy. But of course that never meant anything in the first place, now did it?
