Yep...an explanation of why "the right of the people to keep and bear arms

shall not be infringed". To suggest that the right to keep and bear arms applies only the militia is to suggest that the authors and signers of the Constitution used the term "the people" in the second in an entirely different manner than they did elsewhere in the constitution. Why even mention "the people" if the right only applied to the militia?
