With the Dreamers, I think the dems had a compromise on the table.


Not 100% sure the whole thing could have come together if they'd been willing to accept some of the things they opposed, like the $25 (or $33? I think it floated a bit) for the dreaded wall, but they signaled clearly that they would not.

I agree that Trump does more than walk things back - he flip flops completely - so time will tell. But the dems should IMO be willing to accept less than they want here - and probably a lot less. The country is what it is - incremental will be the best you can get on this.
