It's not half, it's projected to be around 25-30%, and even those "cuts"


from reducing those eligible for "chain migration" to just spouses and dependent children (as it should be IMO), along with the diversity lottery visa cuts, will be used to clear out the backlog on "chain migration" applicants that are already on the waiting list. So it will likely be years before those "cuts" actually lead to a reduction in the # of immigrants coming in, and in the meantime wait list times are accelerated.

Again, a very sweet deal for the Dems. If they were truly concerned about protecting the Dreamers. Not to mention the lower and working class. They're not. They're concerned about politics.
