Doesn't Trump rail against NATO all the time? Now he cares about NATO?

I don't know middle east politics. Perhaps a pullout was necessary. However, at least have an appropriate exit plan where it doesn't look like we abandoned the Kurds to the rest of the world ... and look like chumps to Turkey. This make America look incredibly weak. That's not good.
