Various outlets reporting atrocities against our former Kurdish allies

Committed by Arab militias aligned with both AQ and ISIS, now fighting essentially with Turkey against the Kurds. ISIS forces formerly held by the Kurds reportedly escaping.

Maybe Trump's goal is to help ISIS reconstitute its caliphate so he can wag the dog a little as the curtain on his admin continues to be pulled back. Although that seems like too much planning for a stable genius with unmatched wisdom like Trump. But purposely or not, Trumpistan seems to have realigned itself away from the Kurds and towards the Islamist extremists.

And Trump's subjects seem more than happy to go along. American national security interests apparently continue to diverge from Trumpistan's.
