going to be tough to be prove. IMO, I didn't think there was enough concrete evidence. As for obstruction, circumstantial evidence was there but still tough to convince the public and force impeachment. Impeachment and conviction should be the last option as oversight of the executive branch. It's just bad for the country.

As for this time around, the Ukraine fiasco is a clear violation of the Hobbs Act if there was a quid pro quo. There's no way around it. The question is if the Senate admits the President made a terrible mistake and requests that the public decide in 2020. Can we trust Trump to not cheat again? That said, I don't think the Senate convicts which could expose them in their re election bids if not done in the most sensitive and fair way. I believe McConnell knows it.

Remember, the DOJ just passed on investigating the whistleblower's complaint. They said it was an "intelligence matter." They didn't make a criminal ruling on it.
