I rather not do that, but McConnell's opened Pandora's Box.

If McConnell just allowed the Garland vote, none of the moderates / independents would say a thing.

Now the potential Roe v Wade overturn will hurt the GOP with women for a generation. The GOP will be branded as the party against women. Roe v Wade is easy to understand for a majority of Americans. Why the GOP wants to go this direction ... it's mind boggling.

Case in point, just look at the current Trump campaign. They decided to go after African American male voters vs. women. Trump appealing to African Americans? Women are turning their backs on the GOP. This will not help.
