26 states with only 17% of the US population elect the majority of senators


A president who twice lost the popular vote has appointed one third of the Supreme Court and the same percentage of all federal circuit court judges. One senator has the de facto power to determine what is and isn’t voted on by the Senate. All of this is, of course, in accordance with or at least not prohibited by the Constitution. Is this good or bad for America and the continued survival of a unified republic?
