As JohnHoo points out below, many have already agreed to give up EC votes


via the interstate EC compact. Not a stretch to think they would do the same for senators. What would you think of having representation in the senate determined by relative population as follows:

States with populations under 50% of national average get 1 senator.
States with populations 50-100% of national average get 2.
States with populations 100-200% of national average get 3.
States with populations >200% of national average get 4.
No state gets more than 4.

This will never happen but it’s interesting to think about, and it still amplifies the power of tiny states like Wyoming.
