It wouldn't be close because Trump was only president for 4 years while
Obama was president for 8 years. Despite TK's attempt to argue this doesn't matter, it absolutely does.
Even if you throw out covid, Here are the deficits by year starting with Obama's first budget

Obama's budgets had a combined 6.5 trillion in deficits, or an average of $812 billion per year. Trump's 4 budgets (talking the March projection for 2020 and 2021 to eliminate the covid impact) averaged $960 billion. So that's Obama WITH the financial crisis and Trump WITHOUT covid. And Obama's budget deficits were still smaller on average.
