Alright LA, I am going to call it a day on this. I think you completely
Miss the mark. For one thing, I think you are completely disconnected from reality if you think anyone or anything would have made Trump abandon his claims.
As for the rest, sorry, but courts decide whether or not to take cases all the time. It’s wonderful that you have all these viewpoints about what the court should or should not have done and how any of that might have appeased the election result deniers. But at then end of the process, and there was a very lengthy process, the courts arbitrate disputes, and that can include - should include where courts decide it appropriate - not to hear a case, and leave the result in dispute standing. That was the case here.
You have every right to write your congressman about it. And protestors had every right to protest about it. But not to storm the Capitol, and Trump and Co does not have a right to free speech to spin them up and launch them into that effort. That is the case no matter how much you or all of Trumpistan disagrees with the outcomes of the dozens of court challenges - including all those that were thrown out for a variety of reasons. A variety of processes, including the senate trial, will examine the question fo Trump’s role.
Basically, your attitude leads inexorably to “I’ll accept the decisions of courts - except when I don’t like what they do”.
Which is not how any democracy, including ours, operates.
