I'm not saying that standing isn't a legit doctrine. I'm saying that...
1) when a case is dismissed for standing (or some other similar reason unrelated to the merits, such as laches), however legitimate that decision might be, it says nothing about the validity of the underlying claim. The left has disingenuously claimed otherwise. These cases left unheard do not in any way disprove the allegations of election malfeasance, fraud, etc. Leaving them unheard is detrimental to both Trump supporters, who think they never got their day in court, and Biden supporters, who want their President to have some sort of perceived legitimacy beyond just the half of the country that voted for him.
2) In the cases taken as a whole, the President, a candidate for President, voters, entire states and members of state legislatures have all been told they have no standing. Who, then, does have standing? Can no one contest an election in court? The obvious absurdity of this shows that standing, while an important and legitimate consideration, was collectively abused.
As a result of the above, we have no court-provided wisdom ("impartial reasoning") to help guide the citizenry. Now half the country views its President as illegitimate.
