This is a concerted effort to get the culture warriors out. What I took


from the article is that it is mostly GOPers who are "engaged" on this. Like the Scopes trial writ large or an extension of the emphasis on "secular humanism" back in the '80's as religious types started coming into prominence politically.

So your kids come home with some different ideas? Seems like a good dinner table conversation to me, along with finding out what time football practice is tomorrow or who you're going to the prom with.
