Like you, I know more people who are positive for covid now too
as compared to the entire outbreak prior to the last 3 weeks or so. Or at least it seems that way. It's everywhere. But the cases all seem to be a lot less serious though. I don't know of anyone who is hospitalized compared to the 5 people I know who were previously hospitalized. My next door neighbor who is in her late 60s, vaxxed and boosted, got hit pretty hard, but didn't need any treatment outside of rest. She probably would have had a worse outcome had she not been vaccinated.
