Personally seeing it now more than ever. Nobody
in my family has gotten it, thankfully (as far as we know), and all are vaxed.
However, I work with offices in Europe, Asia and South America - a lot of people are testing positive, and people are unable to work. I've had a couple friends of friends die of covid, but (as I posted elsewhere), the most recent was the neighbor of the host of party about 10 days ago (anti-vaxer and 2nd time he had covid). Seems like it is everywhere now.
Before the vaccines were available, a good friend almost died, but he is fine now. They tried to put him on a ventilator, but he refused, saying that that is when people die. About 24 hours after his refusal, he was almost back to normal. Really strange, but we are thankful.
So yeah - my family and I wear masks just in case there is the tiniest chance it could help someone.
