What's this?

First off, state legislatures are...

...elected by the people to represent the people. They are the branch of government MOST responsive to the people's will. They didn't just land here from Mars -- they received a majority of votes from the people in their respective elections. How is that a recipe for minority rule, whatever that even means?

Second, the "redress" is the ballot box. In contrast, the people, in fact, had NO redress in the pre-2020 election law violations, as executive and judicial branch officials illegally and unconstitutionally changed duly passed election laws by fiat. How is that better than the legislature doing it? (And since I'm sure you'll argue against a mountain of evidence that no such violations occurred in 2020, instead just think about it as a future hypothetical where, say, Ron DeSantis violates Florida's election laws to help Republicans.)

Third, what do you even mean by "setting up and overturning an election system however they choose"? Can you give me an example of how that is even possible?
