Exactly. Don't fly a lot (5-6x a year), don't have status and can tolerate


the sort of cattle-car aspects of "The Line-up" at boarding, and the prices seem to always at least equal the best thing I can find through various search mechanisms. Not for everybody, though, for sure.

Everybody that works there seems to be happy they have the job, too. I didn't realize the difference that makes until a recent Frontier flight where I was treated to 2 hours and 51 minutes of non-stop bitching about company policies, specific passengers (not me, I was feigning sleep and no problem) fellow crew members, pilots, etc, by virtue of being in the last seat directly in front of the back galley...

They (back to Southwest, here) seem to be on time, like, 100% of the time barring an industry-wide catastrophe, too. Maybe I'm just lucky, on the 4-5 or so round trips a year I've been booking on Southwest, though.
