What's this?

It would be giving the democrats the stick to beat them over the head

with at the next election because the fixes to Obamacare would not be popular (or the spineless dems would have included them in the original bill). The GOP is useless, but the dems would need to sign up for sponsoring the unpopular but necessary changes to the ACA, otherwise it would be political suicide for the GOP.
