You'll be disappointed if you're expecting me to argue the

GOP isn't stupid.

But I hate the notion that the Democrats are somehow more noble than the GOP (I'll admit on average they're slightly less crazy these days) and immune the pressure to do what's politically expedient, not what's right. The glaring flaws in the the original ACA are a monument to Democrats also choosing to take the politically easy path rather than making the correct, but hard decisions.
