In NJ, I as a left leaning moderate voted straight GOP as I don't like the


Dem's governor candidate and want the state house and senate to have some balance against the Dem majority. But in the end, it is near a complete wipe-out for GOP's. The governor's election was not close and Dem extended their majority in the state level. Although I think it is much more of a Christie factor rather than Trump factor, I can't imagine GOP finding any comfort in the results. This is a bit concerning to me, as when a political party feels like they are getting momentum (like Dems probably feeling today) or getting desperate, they start to push for more far out policies.
