Two governorships, a handful of special Congressional elections, one state (VA) with a significant number of local legislative elections.

The Dems can take comfort in some momentum, perhaps, but outside of places that were already pretty blue they've not gained a whole lot of power.

But TrumpShow's got a year to do enact some sort of policy that is both significant (to convince their base that they are competent) and not violently unpopular (to not motivate the opposition even more), or Republican control of Congress will disappear.
