Same with the bush tax cuts. Changes had to be made.
And they were. And no one's taxes ever went up when the original bush tax cuts sunset (except for the rich).
You can harp on what happens in 10 years from now (during which time there will be multiple other changes to the tax code), but to say this plan is a tax increase in the middle class because it saves them money for the next 10 years and in 10 years time there's a something slightly above a 0% chance that their taxes will increase, seems a little silly.
I'm not a fan of the bill, but you're the ONLY person I've seen refer to this as a tax increase on the middle class because of the 10 year sunset provision.
