That it won't just be a lost oppty to fill out an itemization form. It will result in increased taxes.
Which isn't necessarily the end of the world. I will pay more in taxes (probably - the horse trading isn't done yet, so we don't really know for sure), but not enough to change my life, and that alone doesn't make me complain. The problem is this was a half assed several week effort to produce legislation that allows Trump to say "yay me!!" It is masquerading as reform, it does not simplify, and we'll be lucky if it only adds 1.5 trillion to the deficit.
Whatever happened to fiscal conservatism? The rush to complete this is downright reckless. Talk about having to pass it to know what's in it.
