Thanks again. And you're right about your description of the caravan

situation, they did indeed just make them wait in Mexico while they cleared up the backlog.

BTW as a total aside, I heard Sessions the other day say that over 80% of asylum seekers are denied by the courts (not by him or the administration) as not valid reasons for asylum. And that there has been a sizable increase in asylum seekers, further backlogging the system for asylum seekers with valid claims. This situation isn't getting better anytime soon, so hopefully we do find suitable and humane way to handle it.
