This truth needs to be hammered home again and again by the Democrats along

with the fact that the GOP is still looking to sabotage the ACA and has no alternative plan for it. I noticed that SCOTUS has decided not to hear the appeal of the recent ACA ruling on severability until after 2020 which is very convenient. Republicans don't want to answer any questions regarding healthcare or entitlements.

In principle though, if everyone were behaving rationally, we should be looking at least at reform of these programs and the defense budget and taxes. I know that's a no-brainer but maybe it would be possible now that the GOP has been touching the third rail?
