As I quickly ended my scanning of yours when it didn't fit mine. :-)

In all seriousness, like I said, if this is a good thing in terms of improved recidivism, conditions, etc. with little to no increase in costs, I will happily applaud Biden for this move and wonder WTH it took so long.

I just, by nature, cringe at and question such conclusions about it being automatically good, or needing to get the profit out of prisons, when logic tells me that doesn't make sense. We outsource Govco (and private industry) services all the time, and we don't do it because it's worse and more costly.
