Or at least stop lying about it and consider it rationally and..

.. objectively.

For a pandemic that is apparently as dangerous, historic, and unprecedented as this one is, why wouldn't we be throwing everything available in the arsenal at it? And why would we be denying/discouraging doctors in the use of a tool (off label use of prescription drugs) that has for a long time been widely accepted as legal, ethical, and appropriate when determined by a doctor acting with patient consent? Where would we be if we had discouraged the application/exploration of off label pharmaceuticals in connection with HIV/AIDS? The answer, I think, would be with several hundred thousand more deaths from that disease.

It doesn't have to be "the miracle cure that can end the pandemic" in order to be efficacious, useful, and palliative.

People and doctors should at least consider the primary source evidence on their own Without regard, necessarily, for the pronouncements of institutional actors burdened with financial conflicts that generally do not pertain to individual Frontline physicians...
