I drop in occasionally to "take the temperature" when there is something..

.. of interest to me either personally or professionally that is percolating. Sometimes it ends up being on the radar over here, sometimes not. This time was "not", but, as typically happens, I usually get sucked in to a thread or two... And then get reminded why I never come over here.. unless it's for one of those "temperature checks"
