The FDA has a very similarly-worded warning against aspirin's off-label..

..usage... And yet it is still widely prescribed and so used

I am assuming you are well aware that the off-label prescription of medications is a longstanding, legal, ethical, and widely used medical tool. are you suggesting that this paradigm should be changed? Or that government and or professional organizations should second guess specific medical treatments prescribed by doctors in consultation with their own patients based on those patients particular situations and medical profiles?
