.. and then decide for yourself and/or bring me any substantive rebuttals... That's all I ask. The truth of the matter regarding ivermectin, as I see it, is as I laid out for balz, below:

1) it is a human drug, and was developed as such, and in fact won the Nobel prize for its human applications

2) It's prescription for covid is legal and ethical under prevailing medical paradigms. It is available (both legally and ethically), as is any prescription pharmaceutical, for off-label prescription by physicians in consultation with their patients, we're deemed medically appropriate and safe via that process

3) As prescribed by physicians, it is safe. The medication has a safety record as good as any and better than most medications. If you can find me a clinical example of a death from physician-prescribed human ivermectin, I would love to see it. FWIW, the FDA provides a similarly-worded warning against off-label use of aspirin to prevent heart attacks. It's what they do. But, like I said, If you can provide hard evidence of significant quantifiable deaths or injuries from physician prescription of ivermectin, I'd love to see it.

4) There is scientific evidence for its efficacy as both a treatment for and a prophylaxis against covid. You may challenge the "weight" of that evidence, or, personally, choose to value it less than others do... But evidence does exist, and to say otherwise is not at all truthful.

Why not read the summary I linked and the data further linked therein? You're obviously not a stupid guy, but you proclaim some level of ignorance with regard to ivermectin... Why not educate yourself?
