Nobody who gets the vaccine winds up in the hospital or worse.

What’s also predictable is the strawman the anti-vax set throws up with every piece of news of breakthrough cases. I don’t think anyone ever said the vax would prevent all infections. The seasonal flu vax doesn’t. Delta made breakthroughs more common, which was also widely predicted. Cases will be more frequent; the worst outcomes will not. They remain virtually non-existent for vaxxed people who are not severely immunocompromised.

Which is truly the point of getting vaxxed. Yet the strawman predictably goes up and gets knocked down by the irrational vax resistors. Every time a vaxxed area has a “spike” along the lines of 10 cases per day going up to 20 cases a day, you come here spiking the ball happily claiming “covid cases up 100%!!” First off, I don’t know how you feel about celebrating people’s illnesses like that, but that’s where your strange Covid-obsessed politics has led you. And then of course we hear nothing more about these terrible outbreaks that never were, because nobody ends up in ICUs and the whole thing peters out.

Unlike the outbreaks in less vaxxed areas, where deaths spike, hospitals get overwhelmed, people start talking about rationing healthcare resources, and so on. These contrasts between highly and sparsely vaxxed areas are right there in front of your nose - you constantly highlight them yourself - yet somehow your strange pro-covid campaign blinds you to it.
