Agree on all. I just wonder if the genie is out of the bottle


from a political standpoint. Not just in terms of taking the reproductive rights discussion to the next level, but the SCOTUS itself, etc.

I would say that this is a political decision and total overreach (everyone seems to do it...), but there really is a very vocal minority that ONLY seems to care about this. To them, it is overturn or bust (or overturn + outlaw...).

The good thing for the Rs... there is no way they screw things up like the Dems when it comes to energizing the base or communicating a message. For now anyway, that base also seems to be very tolerant of missteps (and dishonesty). Certainly a gift to the Dems though - they don't have much else right now (though I'll give Sleepy a lot of credit on his management of the Ukraine crisis to date - though there's certainly a lot more to come there).
