Some people just don't have the time, energy, or wherewithall to find healthy food, prepare it, and clean it up. I also do think it gets expensive, at least in urban areas where farmers markets are a yuppie commodity and tomatoes cost $3 a pop. If you live where most people live and are poor or you're working nonstop, commuting, and scraping by to make ends meet there's a good chance the only shopping you're doing is a weekend run to Costco where they serve, guess what? Processed crap your kids won't spit back out at you.

It's a sad cycle and fast food is another big culprit. Not everyone can spend $15 on a salad from Chop't every day so it ends up being Mickey D's. The dumpier parts of town don't tend to have the healthier options either. That's how it is up here anyways. We need more good farmers like you, dude. We really do. My wife is all about the natural food and keeps our family really healthy -- but the price tag adds up.

BTW, do you sell to NOVA area or ever come to any of the farmers markets up this way?
