That's how "fake news" works, even without saying a single false statement. You can tug on all the heartstrings you want, and, just like with Mr. Manson, it doesn't change that they have been found deserving of deportation.

If you don't like that's how the laws are written, you don't get to just trot out crying children and argue they should be ignored, or that anyone enforcing them is just "cruel" and "evil".

As an aside, unfortunately I can't get to the WaPo article anymore to get to that link you mention with Mr. Obama's former border patrol guy making such a worthy rebuttal to this "fake news".
