Fundamental disagreement. First of all, reporting you find to be too slanted is not "fake". It's, well, too slanted, if that's your view.

More importantly, there is no rule of journalism that says a news report can't be about the subject of one faction's point of view. And since this article clearly states that it is one faction's point of view - not only with its title, but by who's statements they reference, and by actually showing the opposing general point of view, there is nothing misleading or fake. It's not presented as THE narrative of the situation. It is presented as a report about those who believe family separations are being or will soon be ramped up. The watchdog function of the press is all about reporting things like this.

And if FOX were to write a piece about just the Admin's POV, that would not be "fake" either, as long as the article made clear that was the subject of their reporting. As this one did.

This fucking demonization of the press is so damned toxic to our democracy.
