Basically, your point of view is that it is fake news to report the opposition's view on a controversial topic. Sometimes, that's the entire subject - "this is what the opposition is saying." It would be fine if they made no mention of the Admin view. The clearly stated subject of this news article is the viewpoint of the opposition, entitled something like "Some see Family Separation 2.0 in..." I've seen a million news reports like that in my day. How a specific group feels about something - could be how they favor the thing, or they oppose the thing - is news when talking about something this controversial.

One example that comes to mind - an article about how rank and file Buddhists in Myanmar feel about policies we see as ethnic cleansing of Rohingya, but they see as normal law enforcement/national security. That wasn't fake news. That was real news about one angle of a complex story. As was this one - real news about one angle - the opposition angle - on a complex story.

You just don't happen to like this angle. But it is a widely held angle, and Nancy Pelosi is the 3rd in line for the presidency, so reporting on her angle is legit, real news. They have quotes to back it up.
