What on earth that has to do with CEO experience being sufficient training

to be an elected official in charge of everything from foreign policy to domestic policy is beyond me. It's not a very good argument, Boca.

If you want to say running an organization is a skill and CEOs (particularly those in charge of larger, bureaucratic organizations) can often translate their executive skills to an executive branch positions -- and that there really is NO JOB that prepares one to be POTUS on substance, so the disadvantage on policy isn't as bad as it looks on paper -- fine. That's at least a reasonable position.

But arguing that being a CEO is just like being an elected leader because consumers might stop buying the company's product or service if they think it sucks (which rarely relates to something about the CEO's job managing the company, but the product itself) is just plain dumb, no offense.
