Oh I agree infrastructure needs to be a priority.

It’s a piece of the agenda. But it’s just one piece.

It’s one of the few Trump talking points Dems we’re okay with (yet Trump somehow failed to pull it off).

But today, it’s not worth sacrificing everything else. Because if infrastructure passes with zero assurances on anything else, it’s safe to assume nothing else passes, which would doom Dems for several election cycles.
