I've had interactions with such LE people in my life

I am respectful and not an "in your face" kind of person. As an example, I was driving across AZ, carefully observing the speed limit and in the right lane (with a Virginia tag) when a marked police car pulled out from a ramp to follow and quickly pull me over. Back then, it was customary for a drive to go ahead and step out of the car, so I met the officer behind my car. I politely asked why I was being pulled over, and he loudly told me to STIFU and stand over there. He went on to write out a speeding ticket. I think that once he noticed my military dress uniform hanging behind the driver's seat, he down graded it to a "warning: that I had to respond to. A real PITA.
