According to the report I read, the penalties James is proposing include repayment of $250mm and banning Trump and his children from serving as officers in an NY-registered company. BFD. It's fine and it probably is in James's purview to do this, but the way Trump treats everything as transactional, this is just another transaction. It's not going to move the needle very much and it is certainly not going to convince MAGA types that they're backing the wrong horse.
